DAY 02: Arusha - Lake Manyara
Depart for Lake Manyara National Park at around 0830am, famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingoes. The park contains five distinct vegetation zones and is of scenic beauty. Dinner and overnight at Twiga/Jambo campsite.

DAY 03: Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast take a Picnic Lunch with you descend 670m into the crater floor for game viewing, breaking for lunch at the Lerai picnic site. The crater is 14.5km. wide and is home to all the big five and hence the same may be seen. Hippos, cheetah, antelopes and the spotted hyena are other species commonly seen as well as flamingoes on the crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at Simba campsite.

You will have an early morning start to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, host to the “birthplace of man,” and home to a unique intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive in time for lunch. Later, visit a Masai village. Dinner and Overnight at the Ngorongoro Simba Public campsite.

DAY 05: Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy breathtaking views of the crater as the sun rises. Descend 2000 feet below the rim of the crater for a full day of spectacular game viewing. The crater is home to abundant game, including the “Big Five,” along with the black rhino, jackal and Cape buffalo. Lunch is served picnic style on the crater floor. Late afternoon you will drive to the Ngorongoro Simba Public campsite for dinner and Overnight.

DAY 06: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti
This morning drive to Olduvai Gorge for a short visit to the site of the remains of prehistoric “Nutcracker man.” Continue your journey to the world’s best-known park, the Serengeti. Named after the Masai word, “Siringet,” for endless plains of short and long grass, the Serengeti is well known for its large prides of lion, cheetah, packs of wild dog and nearly a million or so wildebeest. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and a late afternoon game viewing drive Dinner and Overnight at the Seronera Public campsite.

Enjoy two full days of morning and late afternoon game drives. This day you have the opportunity to take an early morning balloon safari (extra cost) over the Serengeti Plains or continue with your scheduled game drive.
